Crafted from premium polyester felt in a deep black finish, the Iron Trail features a structured crown and balanced brim that form a classic western silhouette. The dark felt anchors the design, allowing contrast elements and hand-applied details to emerge with intention rather than excess.
Its handcrafted embellishments speak to survival, utility, and personal code. A sculpted band wraps the crown, accented with turquoise-toned stones, subtle metal studs, and hand-stitched markings that echo trail symbols and worn signposts. Cover & Brim offers a free one-hour cancellation window after a rental is placed.
- Cancellations within the free cancellation window receive a full refund, including the refundable security deposit.
- Cancellations made after the free cancellation window are subject to a one-day rental charge plus applicable taxes.
All remaining rental fees and the refundable security deposit will be returned.
Buy Now Orders
All Buy Now hats are handcrafted to order and become final sale once the free one-hour cancellation window has passed.
We do not accept returns or exchanges.
Shipping
For domestic U.S. orders, shipping typically ranges around $60, depending on destination, carrier rates, and order details.
Because each hat is individually handcrafted, please allow approximately 5 days from production to delivery.

Cover & Brim hats are shipped in protective boxes designed to support the brim and maintain each hat’s shape. For long-term care, felt hats should be stored in a breathable environment, such as a hat box, cotton storage bag, or on an open shelf, to allow proper airflow.
Plastic storage may be used temporarily to protect felt hats from dust and debris but is not recommended for extended periods.
Straw hats should not be stored in plastic, as limited airflow can cause the straw to dry out over time, making it brittle or prone to breakage.
