By visiting our website, placing an order, renting a hat, booking a consultation, or joining a membership, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Please read these Terms carefully before using our Site or services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using coverandbrim.com (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site or services.

2. Use of the Site

You may use the Site only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  
• Engage in fraudulent, misleading, or unauthorized activity
  
• Interfere with the security or functionality of the Site
  
• Attempt to access restricted areas without authorization
  

3. Accounts (If Applicable)

If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Products, Services & Pricing

All products and services offered by Cover & Brim are subject to availability and acceptance. Prices, descriptions, and availability may change without notice. We reserve the right to correct errors or cancel orders if necessary.

5. Order Cancellations & Final Sale Policy

Cover & Brim operates on a made-to-order, handcrafted model. Cancellation eligibility depends on the type of product or service purchased.

6. Custom Hats (Final Sale)

All custom hats are handcrafted specifically for each client and are considered final sale immediately upon purchase.

• Custom hat orders cannot be canceled, refunded, or exchanged
  
• Production may begin immediately after purchase
  
• Natural variations in materials, finish, and detailing are inherent to handcrafted work and are not considered defects
  

7. Buy Now Hats (One-Hour Free Cancellation)

All Buy Now hats are handcrafted to order.

• Buy Now orders may be canceled within one (1) hour of purchase
  
• After the free one-hour cancellation window has passed, Buy Now hats become final sale
  
• We do not accept returns or exchanges after the cancellation window
  

Natural variations in color, texture, and finish are part of the handcrafted process.

8. Rental Services – Cancellations, Charges & Deposits

Certain Ready-To-Wear hats may be available for rental.

Rental Cancellations Within One Hour

• Rental orders canceled within one (1) hour of placement receive a full refund, including any refundable security deposit.
  

Rental Cancellations After One Hour

• Cancellations made after the free one-hour cancellation window are subject to a one-day rental charge, plus applicable taxes.
  
• Any remaining rental fees and the refundable security deposit will be returned after applicable charges are applied.
  

Rental reservations block inventory and calendar availability.

9. Memberships

Cover & Brim may offer membership tiers that include exclusive benefits, discounts, early access, or included services.

• Memberships are non-transferable
  
• Membership fees are non-refundable after purchase
  
• Benefits and pricing may change at renewal
  
• Discounts apply only to eligible items and services as described at the time of purchase
  

10. Consultations

Consultations are conducted virtually and are designed to support custom orders or rental selection.

• Consultations do not guarantee availability of specific materials or designs
  
• Missed or canceled consultations may be subject to rescheduling limitations
  
• Information shared during consultations is used solely to provide personalized service
  

11. Payment & Billing

By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method. You agree to pay all charges, including applicable taxes, fees, deposits, and shipping.

Payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers. Cover & Brim does not store full payment details.

12. Shipping & Delivery

For domestic U.S. orders, shipping rates are calculated at checkout and typically start around $60, with final costs varying based on destination, carrier rates, and package requirements.

Because each hat is individually handcrafted, please allow approximately five (5) business days from production to delivery. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to production volume, carrier delays, or circumstances beyond our control.

13. Returns & Exchanges

Unless expressly stated in these Terms:

• Custom hats are final sale
  
• Buy Now hats are final sale after the one-hour cancellation window
  
• Rentals are governed by rental-specific terms

14. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, images, logos, designs, and photography, is the property of Cover & Brim and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without written permission.

15. Disclaimers

All products and services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding uninterrupted service, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cover & Brim shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site, products, or services.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cover & Brim, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims or damages arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Site or services.
