Hat Size Guide — Find Your Perfect Fit
At Cover & Brim, we want your hat to feel as good as it looks. A proper fit is key to comfort, confidence, and wearing your style with ease. Use this guide to measure your head accurately before selecting a size.
-
Standard Hat Sizes
If you’re unsure or between sizes, sizing up is usually more comfortable than sizing down.
-
How to Measure Your Head
You’ll need a flexible measuring tape (or a piece of string you can measure afterward with a ruler).
Step-by-Step:- Place the tape around your head
Wrap the tape around where the hat will sit — just above your ears and across the mid-forehead. - Keep it snug, not tight
The tape should sit comfortably around your head without pressing in. - Measure and record
Take the measurement in inches or centimeters at the point where the tape meets. - Choose your size
If your measurement falls between sizes, we recommend choosing the next largest size for comfort.
- Place the tape around your head
